Peter's German band performs in all parts of Germany as well as Switzerland, the Netherlands, England and the U.S. They participate regularly in well renowned jazz festivals including the famous jazz festival in Edinburgh Scotland, played three times at the prestigious Dixieland Jubilee in Sacramento CA and twice at the Classic Jazz Festival in Los Angeles.

The predominant radio station in the South Western part of Germany, the Süddeutscher Rundfunk, features Peter's group repeatedly in broadcasts; Radio Luxemburg utilizes their sound on the occasion of a major jazz live broadcasts, and the German TV, Deutsches Fernsehen, presented a feature about the band and their music.

Peter enjoys playing swing with a Benny Goodman flavor. While Goodman had  one of the few small swing groups, Peter’s influence for his stateside group came not from him but from a common friend of all members of the group, Jerry Jerome. Jerry had a similar group while he was a staff member at NBC and convinced Peter to pattern this stateside group after Jerry's.

In addition to his second CD with his Florida Friends, Peter has recorded as a guest with many well-known all-stars and the following CDs with his Germany group:  1. What's  New? A tribute to Bob Haggart,  2.  A Tribute to Werner Neidhardt,  3. Flat Foot Stompers with Wild Bill Davidson and Peanuts Hucko,  4. Flat Foot Stompers and Friends Vol. 1 &  2.
